Toros Tarım, which says it holds about 38% of Türkiye’s installed chemical fertiliser capacity, has plants at Ceyhan, Mersin and Samsun, making ammonium nitrate and CAN, DAP and NPK compounds. İGSAŞ’s Kocaeli plant makes ammonia, urea and compound fertilisers, and its Kütahya site makes ammonium nitrate and nitric acid. Toxic gas is a separate job
Ammonia is toxic as well as flammable, so personal gas detectors stay mandatory. The handset does not replace one; it carries the work order, camera and call to the control room.

An estate such as GEBKİM has many separate operators. Each runs its own console, and the IS-04Z1 can be managed from an existing MDM console, so one device policy does not have to span tenants.

Frequently asked questions
Does the handset replace a toxic gas detector?
No. A phone is not a gas detector. Ammonia and similar gases need the personal and fixed detectors the site already specifies. The handset adds a camera, a position fix and a record, not gas detection.
Which dust risks fall under Zone 21?
Zone 21 is an area where combustible dust is likely to be present in normal operation. Granulation, drying and bagging can qualify, but each plant classifies its own areas. Ask the İSG team for the drawing.
How would an estate such as GEBKİM treat visiting equipment?
Estate rules and tenant rules both apply. Ask the estate administration and the tenant’s HSE team what they need to see. This page does not state any specific estate programme.
