Tiszaújváros holds the steam cracker, the polyethylene and polypropylene plants and the polyol complex completed there in 2024. Kazincbarcika produces MDI, TDI and PVC on one integrated site. Around these, the pharmaceutical industry works with solvents in Budapest and Dorog, the gas system runs from the Algyő field to the storage caverns of the Great Plain, and bioethanol and starch plants add flammable liquid and combustible dust to the same picture.

IP68 sealing and rugged build cover high and low temperature, humidity and vibration, which is the actual span of a Hungarian working year on an outdoor unit. The ambient range fixed by the certificate is published with the datasheet rather than claimed beforehand.
A classified area has no charging point, and on a site the size of the Tisza complex the walk to one is a real interruption. The 4,000 mAh cell is sized for a full shift with the camera and a maintenance application in use.
Android 16 with EMM and MDM lets a device be enrolled, restricted to the applications the site permits, wiped and reissued as one contractor crew leaves and the next arrives, which during a leállás happens continuously.

ATEX is transposed by the 35/2016. (IX. 27.) NGM rendelet and nothing national follows it on the product side. Hungarian evaluations turn instead on two things: whether the user documentation and declaration of conformity are genuinely in Hungarian, and which authority supervises the site, because an upstream or gas storage installation answers to SZTFH rather than to a labour inspector alone.
The product route is European and closed. ATEX 2014/34/EU is transposed by the 35/2016. (IX. 27.) NGM rendelet on the examination and certification of equipment and protective systems intended for use in a potentially explosive atmosphere. A notified body certificate, the EU declaration of conformity and CE marking place the device on the Hungarian market, and no additional national Ex approval follows. Market surveillance for this product group is carried out by Budapest Főváros Kormányhivatala through its metrology and technical supervision organisation, and the radio side runs under RED 2014/53/EU with NMHH as the media and communications authority. Hungarian user documentation is expected with the product, and in practice it is the first thing an internal reviewer checks after the certificate number.
The duty side is the operator's. The 3/2003. (III. 11.) FMM-ESzCsM joint rendelet sets the minimum occupational safety and health requirements for workplaces where an explosive atmosphere may occur, and it obliges the employer to prepare and keep the robbanásvédelmi dokumentáció recording the zone classification, the risk assessment and the equipment selection reasoning. Occupational safety inspection is carried out by the employment supervision authority within the government office system. There is a second supervisory line that outsiders often miss: hydrocarbon production, underground gas storage and pipelines fall under mining supervision, and since 1 January 2022 that function has been carried out by SZTFH, the Supervisory Authority for Regulated Activities, which took over the tasks of the former Mining and Geological Survey.
