Crude oil terminals, single-buoy moorings, pipelines and the refinery have classified areas due to flammable vapours. Operators define them, so request area classification and approved equipment lists before visiting.

The nearest airport is at Jamnagar, 47 kilometres away, with the final leg by road in a small coastal town. Confirm gate procedures, security passes and visit timings with each operator in advance.
