Hyderabad Pharma City is a planned 19,000-acre cluster in Ranga Reddy district, announced in 2018 and given National Investment and Manufacturing Zone status in 2019. It remains under development, and its status has been questioned in 2025.

An intrinsically safe handheld means these can be captured in the room, not written up afterwards. The IS-04Z1 is designed for this use, with certification still in progress.
Distribution of the IS-04Z1 is by authorised partners only, and SAMS has not yet granted a territory for Hyderabad, Telangana. Each application is reviewed on its merits. Because opening a certified Ex handset in an ordinary workshop invalidates its certificate, the partner must be able to support and service the device locally.
