The IS-04Z1 is designed to be both an industrial Android phone (IP68, 4,000 mAh battery, 50 MP camera, Android 16 with EMM and MDM support) and an intrinsically safe one. Its explosion-protection certificates are in progress and have not been issued.
In Azerbaijan. Handsets here move between operator staff and contractors, including yards and marine contractors. Android 16 with EMM and MDM support allows enrolment, remote lock and remote wipe, with Azerbaijani, Russian and English language settings. Offshore the device falls back to platform Wi-Fi, and charging is done in a safe area, not in the process module.

SAMS is appointing authorised distributors ahead of the Q4 2026 launch. No territory has been granted for Azerbaijan yet and applications are reviewed company by company.
